Third of Three Black & Blue Bags or (B&B Bags) Collection


My Christmas gift for myself (the middle one).

The whole collection started on that little black sachet with the blue ribbons. It was during the time I was crocheting this when the ideas for the designs of the other bags hit me (thus starting the six-month long project).

Each bag had different trimmings on them (but I was only able to take a picture of the black sachet's trim). Again, same store-bought heart accent with the addition of tiny heart-shaped beads attached onto the ribbon/strings.

For additional support, a clear, hard acetate was placed at the (middle) bag's bottom and finished off with sturdy, black lining.

A collection six months in the making (w/c explains the indicated years). @__@ But the actual time spent on the whole thing would only take less than two months, planning included. TT__TT The reason it took me six months to finish them is my inability to manage my time effectively (not to mention all the holiday stress and emergencies that pop up every now and then =__= ) Waah! But I'm happy they're finished.

All items revolved around the black and blue color scheme (I got addicted to the colors) and broomstick lace (I was particularly 'hooked' with this pattern). I wanted to see how many different styles I can come up w/ using the above mentioned elements.</sub>
